All set for summer Santa jog
IT WILL be an unusual sight when fundraisers dressed as Santa jog round a Basingstoke park – in June.
The event at Down Grange Sports Complex on June 29 is being held to launch Sebastian’s Action Trust’s Christmas in July campaign.
The family event, which starts at 10.30am, will see people dressed in the festive outfits race around a 5km course to generate funds for the trust, which runs a holiday home in North Waltham.
Entrance costs £10 for adults, £5 for children and is free for under-fives.
