AN EMPTY office in Headley is set to be converted into a new two-bedroom home if the plans are given the green light by the borough council.
A Mr C Merry has applied to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to convert the office of swimming pool providers BPS Leisure, in Ashford Hill Road, into a new two-bedroom dwelling.
According to the planning application, the office, which has been used as a showroom, is no longer “required to support the business”.
The application says: “The proposed use of the existing redundant commercial building, whilst located outside a settlement boundary is considered to be sustainable and appropriate for conversion to residential use.”
