A COUPLE have launched a painting school in a recently renovated town house in France.
Mike and Suzie Hall will run classes on the continent in the spring and summer to complement their classes which will still take place in Charter Alley.
Mike, of White Hart Lane, said: “We’ve both run classes at our studio in Charter Alley, which are well attended, and these will still run throughout the year.
“But travel is important for artists who need inspiration, and for us, France provides that in terms of the landscape and the light.
“The few intensive weekly art classes in our house in France in the spring and early summer will be a fabulous opportunity. It will make a change from holding classes in Charter Alley and help with the upkeep of the house.”
The couple bought the run-down house in Limousin and have been renovating it themselves. The classes will cater for people of all abilities.
