TADLEY Town Council has re-elected David Leeks to serve as chairman for the next year.

Cllr Leeks was unani-mously voted in as chairman while Avril Burdett will continue as vice-chairman.

Society wants new members THE Basingstoke Natural History Society, which aims to promote the study of natural history and to protect the flora and fauna in the area, is looking for new members to join the group in time for its 60th birthday in 2015.

Shoppers give generously A CHARITY collection has pulled in the pounds.

A total of £673.61 was raised in the Asda supermarket, in Brighton Hill, on May 2 and May 3 and the money will go to |St Michael’s Hospice, in Aldermaston Road.
