I BELIEVE it’s true that we live in a fast-paced, ever-busy world.
It’s a world where the population is exploding, and everybody wants things instantly – the next gadget, the business report that has to make the deadline, or your phone demanding your attention, reminding you that someone has just posted a Facebook message that you must look at now.
Our culture competes for our time, money, and affections.
I believe there is a ‘God Rhythm’ to our lives as Christians – a rhythm where we intentionally pause or stop and simply reflect on the moment, day, week, month or even seasons of our lives; taking time to reflect on what has gone well and not so well, and expressing gratitude to God in everything.
We have so much to be grateful for! This is great medicine for the heart, and may be the best preparation for tomorrow.
