A THIEF stole fuel and car parts from a Morris Minor parked in a Basingstoke suburb.
The theft is thought to have taken place at 5am on April 25, in Beech Way, Winklebury, although the 52-year-old male victim did not report it until May 3.
It was then that he noticed that the cover of his car was loose, and on closer inspection, he found that part of the fuel pipe and fuel cap were missing. He also believes the thief siphoned fuel from the car.
Anyone with information about the incident can contact PC Craig Bannerman, at Basingstoke police station, on 101.
