A GROUP of golfers from a Tadley golf club will this weekend attempt to tee off at nine different local clubs – cycling between the venues.
Various members of Bishopswood Golf Club will attempt to ride more than 60 miles between the golf clubs in the borough in the hope of raising hundreds for the charity Down’s Syndrome Association.
The golfers will ride from the club in Bishopswood Road to Sandford Springs, Test Valley, Dummer, Basingstoke, Weybrook Park, Sherfield Oaks, Tylney Park, Wokefield Park and then make the final journey back to Bishopswood.
They will hit balls off the first tee at each venue and their progress will be charted on a big screen in the balcony bar in the club.
The club have a fundraising target of £1,000 for the charity, which is the chosen charity this year of captain Mick Davies.
