A SNEAKY thief stole a handbag from a car parked near a north Hampshire beauty spot.

The theft took place between 2pm and 3pm on Sunday, May 3, when a blue Triumph car was parked in a layby near Preston Oak Hill woods, near to the village of Bradley.

The thief smashed a car window to take the handbag.
