QMC students participated in the 36th Annual Championships of British Colleges Sport held at Bath University – and they enjoyed a great level of success.
As a region, the south-east proved to be tough competition and was only pipped to first place by the south-west, beating nine other regions.
Individual students did very well, with the golfers achieving a team bronze medal and the table tennis team winning gold.
Zoe Blagborough and Amy Oxford won each of their five games and remain the best players in the country for the second year running.
The swimmers were also dominant in their races, and won an array of medals, including team and individual gold for Daisy Moore.
The trampolinists and cross-country runners also performed well in their events and enjoyed the experience of competing against the best in the country.
Clare Last, assistant head of sport and PE, said: “We are so proud of the achievements of QMC students, and the south-east team.
“Congratulations to all who participated and represented both the college and the south-east.”
