AN ANNUAL catwalk-style show is set to raise crucial cash for a local hospice.
FHC For Hair is to hold its ninth annual show at the studios in Joule Road.
The theme for this year’s show is ‘2040- a trip into the future’ and the hairstyles on show will reflect this futuristic theme.
A group of dancers from Basingstoke Academy of Dance will also perform routines throughout the night, inspired by the theme.
Local companies have pledged their support for the show, which will be held tomorrow evening.
Old Basing accountants Lane Monnington Welton are sponsoring the event Balloons For U (ok) in Pack Lane, is helping decorate the venue.
Aristokat Disco will be providing musical support.
Graham Kent, owner of FHC, said: “We always look forward to this night, which gives us an opportunity to showcase our hairdressing skills and raise money for a very worthy cause.
“We are also very grateful for the generosity of local companies who have already provided more than £1,000 worth of prizes.”
The event will start at 7pm. Tickets cost £8 each or £15 for a pair and are available from the salon in Kingsclere Road.
All money raised will go towards St Michael’s Hospice, Aldermaston Road.
