REMAINING tickets for this year’s CarFest are due to go on sale tomorrow.
The August bank holiday event at Laverstoke Park Farm raises money for BBC Children in Need.
The first phase of tickets went on sale in November, and sold out almost immediately.
However, a number of all ticket types were held back and will be released at 8am tomorrow, during the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show hosted by Chris Evans, who came up with the idea for CarFest.
Following a consultation with neighbours of the festival, this year’s capacity will be increased, with 5,000 extra tickets being sold.
The festival will include a hill climb, with cars from Chris Evans’ own personal collection, food and music.
Various acts have already been confirmed, including Texas, Simple Minds, Sophie Ellis-Bexter, Jamie Cullum and Jools Holland.
