AN ACTION group which aims to stop unsustainable housing developments being built to the west of Basingstoke is to hold a public meeting.
The South West Action Group (SWAG) will hold a meeting at Hatch Warren Community Centre, in Longcross Lane, on Tuesday at 8.30pm.
Members from the group will talk to visitors about the impact of dwellings that are proposed for the west and southwest of Basingstoke and how the new homes will affect local residents.
The meeting will also give local residents a chance to ask questions and they will also be advised on how to comment on the draft Local Plan which will be subject to public consultation between April 25 and June 13.
