A SCHOOL in North Waltham will host a talk from a history museum curator tonight.

The North Waltham, Steventon, Ashe and Deane History Society will host the curator of the Royal Green Jackets Rifle Museum in Winchester, Major Ken Gray, at North Waltham Primary School at 8pm.

He will talk about the history of the Peninsula Barracks, in Winchester, and will make special reference to the regiments that trained there until its closure in 1986.

Visitors are welcome to attend the talk, which will include coffee and biscuits, at a cost of £2 per person.
