A CHARITY that helps elderly people in Odiham has received an award.

The Twofold Trust received a £125 donation from Councillor Stephen Gorys, chairman of Hart District Council, as part of the Hart Chairman’s Award Scheme.

The charity provides lunches and social meetings for older people in the village.

The presentation was made at the full council meeting in March at the Civic Offices, in Fleet.

Other winners included Mary Saunders for her voluntary work in Long Sutton.
