A PUB in Oakley has been recognised for its fundraising efforts.
The Barlow Mow, in Oakley Lane, raised £960.80 for the Help for Heroes military charity in 2013.
To recognise the pub’s efforts, the charity has now given it a certificate with the amount of money raised.
Connie Hall, who collects money on behalf of the charity, said: “It’s a rather nice gesture to get it. The people of Oakley have been fantastic.”
