Charity branch forced to close due to lack of volunteers
A BRANCH of a charity serving Hook and surrounding villages has closed after 22 years due to a lack of volunteers.
The North East Hants branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association closed in February. Not enough members attended a general meeting, leaving the branch unable to meet the statutory requirements of the charity.
The charity hopes a new support group will be formed soon. To volunteer, call the charity on 0845 6044150.
