SILHOUETTE puppetry, ribbon dancing and fight choreography all featured in a school production of Arabian Nights.
More than 60 Year 10 and 11 GCSE pupils from The Clere School, in Burghclere, were involved in the show, which was adapted for theatre by the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Around 300 primary schoolchildren from local schools attended special matinee performances, including from schools in Ecchinswell, Kingsclere, The Priory and Woolton Hill.
Tamara Warner, curriculum leader of drama at The Clere, said: “We wanted to show the younger children what a high standards can be achieved by students just a few years older than themselves.”
Evening performances were also held for families and friends to watch the show.
