YOU might want to watch this with your eyes half-closed, particularly if you have a fear of heights.

Basingstoke freerunner Scott Young put his life on the edge of a 40-storey building in a stunt he hopes will “inspire the world.”

The 25-year-old member of the world-famous 3RUN group, who have a freerunning academy in Houndmills, Basingstoke, was filmed doing a headstand on the very edge of the building in Shanghai.

With winds picking up, he described the stunt as “no easy task” and pushed his body to the limit to “provide mad content" which has been posted on YouTube.

Scott told The Gazette: "I am filming an online serious of handstands in high places. Me and my team (3RUN) were hired to perform stunts around Shanghai.

"I have been training for over 10 years to allow me to do these stunts, no one should copy this. It isn't easy and it certainly isn't something that can be done without training."
