Cash stolen from van parked near Airkix

THIEVES stole up to £3,000 from a van parked at Basingstoke Leisure Park.

The theft took place around 10.15am on Tuesday, March 4, when the white Citroen Relay van was parked in a car park next to the Airkix complex.

The thieves broke in through the rear doors and took a cash tray, which contained between £2,500 to £3,000.

Anyone who was using the leisure park at the time or saw anyone acting suspiciously is asked to contact PC Alex Hall at Basingstoke CID on 101.
