THREE people have been arrested after officers discovered two cannabis factories in the town.
Officers from the Basingstoke Safer Neighbourhoods team carried out a drugs warrant at a house in Copland Close, Brighton hill, on Friday, February 28. They recovered plants believed to be cannabis and heating and ventilation equipment.
A 21-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Basingstoke, were arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled drug of Class B.
They have been bailed until March 11, pending further enquiries.
On Saturday, March 1, officers raided a house in Pershore Road, Popley.
A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug of Class A, possession with intent to supply of a Class B drug and production of a controlled drug of Class B.
