TADLEY Swimming Pool has closed “until further notice”.
A message on the pool’s website states that a technical fault requiring “essential maintenance” has resulted in the pool having to shut.
The pool is managed by Basingstoke and Deane Community Leisure, which is also responsible for Basingstoke Aquadrome.
It is not clear when the pool closed, or how long it will close for, but an annoucement on Basingstoke and Deane Community Leisure trust's Facebook page, first announced the closure on February 21.
The statement on the website added: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will keep this website updated. The Health Suite is open as usual and workout classes in the Community Room will continue to run.”
No one from Basingstoke and Deane Community Leisure was available to comment.
