A BASINGSTOKE hospital has been rated highly by its patients in a survey.
BMI Hampshire Clinic, in Old Basing, received an overall satisfaction score of 96.8 per cent in the annual patient survey, which is independently conducted and analysed by market research company Quality Health.
The survey measured patient satisfaction across a broad range of criteria including patients’ overall impression of admission, consultant care, imaging (X-ray) anaesthetists, theatre staff, accommodation and whether patients were treated with respect and dignity.
Overall impression of consultant surgeons or physicians received a rating of 98.8 per cent.
Bruce Robinson, executive director at BMI Hampshire Clinic, which employs 200 people, said: “We are delighted that our patients have rated us so highly. The team here at BMI Hampshire Clinic are very dedicated to providing our patients with high standards of care, and the survey shows our patients are particularly appreciative of their efforts.
"We are all very proud of our hospital; everyone here goes above and beyond to ensure our patients are our priority, working hard to make each patient’s time with us as comfortable as possible.”
He added: “The annual patient survey is an invaluable insight and an important indicator of how well we look after the people who choose us to deliver their healthcare. We monitor the results very closely and always look for ways to improve what we do.”
