DETECTIVES have appealed for help in tracing a man wanted in connection with an assault in Buckskin.
Raymond Collins, 32, is wanted by police following the assault in a house in Pentland Close, Buckskin, during the evening of Tuesday, February 11.
The 50-year-old victim suffered facial injuries after he was attacked and needed hospital treatment.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who has information about the whereabouts of Mr Collins.
Detective Inspector Ben Chivers said: “Mr Collins is wanted in connection with a serious assault which left a 50-year-old man requiring hospital treatment for facial injuries.
“His last known address is in Basingstoke and I am seeking the assistance of the community to help locate him.”
He warned people not to approach Mr Collins but call 999 immediately.
Four people from Basingstoke have been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and wounding with intent, and have been remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on March 5.
They are Shaun Miles, 30, of Sinclair Drive, Gary Collins, 33, of Worting Road, Samantha Lee, 27, of Winklebury Centre, and Thomas Perring, 52, of Penny Black Lane.
A 32-year-old man from Basingstoke has also been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and has been bailed until March 18.
