A TRANSPORT company which runs a village bus service has vowed that it will turn up on time after complaints were made that it was often late.
As previously reported in The Gazette, councillor Brian Langer, from Overton Parish Council said the number 74 bus has gone “haywire” and was “unreliable.”
Hampshire County Council said it had received no complaints about the service, which is run by Basingstoke Community Transport (BCT).
However, Overton Parish Council has now received confirmation from BCT that it will adhere to the timetable “as closely as traffic conditions will allow to avoid leaving potential passengers without shelter.”
