A MAN has been charged after an incident outside a Basingstoke pub in which a man had the tips of his fingers bitten off.
Christopher Davis, 28, of Rolls Road, London, was charged with wounding with intent and will appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, February 25.
The public order incident took place outside the now-closed Poison bar, in Old Reading Road, and spilled out into Churchill Way and Alencon Link.
A 48-year-old man from Basingstoke was assaulted.
No further action will take place against a 19-year-old Basingstoke man who was arrested in connection with the incident.
