Thief smashes car window to steal a wallet

A THIEF stole a wallet from a car parked in Popley.

The theft from the silver Citroen Picasso took place when it was left locked and secure in a communal car park in Shelley Close, between 11pm on Tuesday, January 28 and 4.30am on Wednesday, January 29.

The dark brown French Connection wallet had been left on the car’s central console.

Anyone with information can contact Detective Constable Andy Wright at Basingstoke police station on 101.
