A TADLEY infant school has improved, according to an education watchdog.

Ofsted Inspector Margaret Dickinson visited Bishopswood Infant School, in Barlows Road, for a monitoring visit, after the school was judged to “require improvement” in September last year.

In a report published on January 8, she said that headteacher Glen Golding has “given a strong steer to the school’s improvement since the inspection, with a sharp focus on the quality of teaching and pupils’ progress, particularly in writing. The school’s monitoring of teaching is showing an improvement in its overall quality.”
