New salt storage facility planned for Hook
A NEW £475,000 salt storage barn is in the pipeline for Hook.
Hampshire County Council wants to build the barn, with a storage capacity of 2,000 tons, at its depot near junction 5 of the M3.
The salt will be used to help to create more grip for cars on the county’s roads, and will be ready in time for winter 2014-15.
