Two cars crash on M3 near Fleet services
A CRASH on the M3 near Hartley Wintney led to the closure of a carriageway of the M3 motorway.
The two-car crash took place at 5.39pm this evening, on the southbound carriageway one mile north of junction 5 at Hook.
It involved a Vauxhall Astra and a Volvo Estate.
Police officers on the scene quickly reopened lanes 2 and 3 to traffic. Firefighters from Basingstoke fire station were also called to the crash, including the station's special equipment unit.
