THREE men wandered into a Basingstoke warehouse and stole power tools.
The daylight burglary took place at Speedy Hire, in Armstrong Road, Daneshill, at 1pm on Monday, January 6 while staff were on a lunch break.
They stole ten pieces of equipment, mainly Husqvarna disc cutters, and placed them into a Ford Galaxy car and drove off.
The men were seen to enter the warehouse on CCTV.
PC John Pickering said: “This is a rare occurrence but was committed in broad daylight. The car is believed to have been loitering in the Armstrong Road area beforehand.
“Therefore I’d urge anyone who may have seen the car or may be able to report similar sightings to contact us.”
