GENEROUS festive shoppers helped to pull in the pounds for the Basingstoke Salvation Army during the last weekend before Christmas.
Visitors to Festival Place on December 21 donated £1,660.12 to the charity on the day as memberss held their carol playing and Christmas collection.
Funds raised on the day will be used to support the work of the Salvation Army in Basingstoke.
