Woolton Hill teen makes final of national songwriting competition
A WOOLTON Hill teenager has reached the final eight of a national song-writing competition.
Emma Lawrence, 16, is a finalist in the Open Mic UK Original Song-writing Competition with her single One Way Road.
The song is now available for pre-order on iTunes and Emma is hoping it will make the iTunes top 40 by its release date of Monday, January 13.
If it does, Emma will be in with the chance of winning £5,000 and a mini festival tour this summer as part of the Open Mic contest.
