A HAULAGE firm in Hook will look to remain in the area if a supermarket extension plan is approved.

Tesco wants to build a 30,000 sq ft store on land in Station Road, some of which is owned by Rawlings Transport and Rawlings Fuels.

The firm said it would not be closing down if the plan is approved, but will look to relocate “within the area”.

Tesco, which has not yet submitted an application, would demolish its current store in Station Road if the plan is approved by Hart District Council.
