Five charged after police find drugs in car

FIVE people have been charged with drugs offences after police officers stopped and searched a car in Basingstoke.

The car was stopped in Winchester Road, Basingstoke, at 12.30am on Tuesday, January 7. Officers found cash and substances believed to be illegal drugs.

Thomas Sedgewick, 21, of Wolverton Common, Tadley, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

Karen Bonner, 19, and Kieran O’Brien, 22, both of Kings Orchard, Oakley, have been charged with conspiracy to supply a Class B drug.

All three people will appear are due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today.

Matt Donaldson, 21, of Winchester Road, Basingstoke, and Daniel Whittaker, 20, of Kenilworth Road, Winklebury, Basingstoke, have been charged with possession of a Class B drug and have been bailed to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 28.
