A MAN suffered serious leg injuries after a three-vehicle crash on the A339 near Kingsclere.
The crash, which involved two cars and a van, took place on the A339 at Wolverton at around 5.30pm on Monday, January 6.
A team of nine firefighters cut free a 30-year-old man from his vehicle, and he was taken by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital.
Another man was taken to Basingstoke hospital with minor injuries while a third man was treated at the scene.
The major route between Basingstoke and Newbury was closed to traffic in both directions for several hours while emergency services dealt with the crash.
Two air ambulances were called to the scene, but were not used, as well as three South Central Ambulance Service crews.
