TAXI drivers in Hart face a three per cent hike in their licence fee.
Hart District Council claims the rise, which is in line with inflation, is needed to cover increased administration costs.
Fees that will rise include licences for the private hire and hackney carriage vehicles, from £230 to £237, and re-sitting for the driver’s knowledge test, from £26 to £27.
The licensing committee will look at the plans on Tuesday, January 7.
