A MAN was seriously injured after he was in collision with a car in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
The crash took place at around 2.50am, as the 42-year-old walked along Reading Road South in Fleet.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital with head and leg injuries, which are said to be serious but not life-threatening.
The man was in collision with a Vauxhall Astra. The driver, a 57-year-old man from Fleet, was uninjured.
Anyone with information can contact the Whitchurch Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Populus.
