DINERS at a north Hampshire pub got a surprise when they were joined by two Hollywood stars.

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult were spotted at the Jekyll and Hyde pub, in Reading Road, Stratfield Turgis, on Sunday, December 29.

One fan, Emma Morris, tweeted a picture of the pair on Twitter, and said: “This is the happiest day of my life.”

The couple, who are dating, have high-profile acting careers.

Miss Lawrence, 23, won the Best Actress at the Oscars last year for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, and is the star of The Hunger Games series of films.

British actor Nicholas Hoult, 24, starred with Hugh Grant in the 2002 film About A Boy, and recently appeared in the zombie movie Warm Bodies.

He grew up in Wokingham and attended The Sixth Form College Farnborough.

They are not the first Hollywood stars to have enjoyed a meal at a pub in north Hampshire.

American actor Johnny Depp visited The Cricketers pub twice this summer, sparking rumours he was looking to buy a house in the area.
