Restricted visiting hours at Basingstoke hospital to continue past New Year's Day
RESTRICTED visiting times at Basingstoke hospital will continue until the end of the week.
Visiting hours had been reduced before Christmas to one hour only, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, due to an outbreak of sickness and diarrhoea.
The restriction is to remain in place and will be reviewed again on Friday, January 3.
It also applies to the Andover War Memorial Hospital and the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, which, like Basingstoke, are run by the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
