FOUR people, including a 16-year-old boy, have been charged in connection with the supply of heroin in Basingstoke.

The group – three males and a woman – were arrested after detectives carried out a drugs warrant at a house in Tewkesbury Close, Popley, on Wednesday, December 18.

They are Lyn Brownsea, 36, of Tewkesbury Close, Popley, Adrian Twining, 48,  of Tewskesbury Close, Popley, Hassan Ocloo, 20, of Hanwell, London, and a 16-year-old boy from London.

All are due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, January 15.

Ocloo was remanded in custody after a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 20.

Twining and Brownsea were released on bail, while the 16-year-old was released into the care of the local authority.

The raid was part of Operation Fortress, Hampshire Constabulary’s county-wide campaign against the supply of Class A drugs and drug-related violence.
