THIEVES stole a quad bike and chainsaws during raid on a farm in Preston Candover.

They struck between 5pm on Thursday, December 12 and 8am the following day, at a farm off Wield Road.

The thieves cut padlocks to containers and stole two STIHL chainsaws, a yellow Logic sprayer and a dark green Kawasaki KLF quad bike.

The quad bike’s registration plate and the sprayer were found nearby, but the quad bike and chainsaws are still missing.

PC Lee Bishop said: “It is believed that the quad bike was driven off from the back of the farm and on to the bridleway which goes around a 60-acre field and then joins Wield Lane.”

Anyone with information can contact PC Bishop at Basingstoke police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
