A MAN and a woman have appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court charged in connection with the death of a five-month-old girl.
Ross Conlin, 28, of Sandy Lane, Farnborough, has been charged with murder, causing or allowing the death of a child and causing or allowing serious injury to a child.
Kelly Rayner, 26, also of Sandy Lane, Farnborough, has been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child and causing or allowing serious injury to a child.
Both people appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
The charges relate to the death of a five-month-old girl from Farnborough who was taken to Frimley Park Hospital on May 6 this year. She was transferred to Southampton General Hospital the following day where she died.
