EXTRA patrols will take place in South Ham this week after a man grabbed at a ten-year-old girl.
The incident, which the police are treating as suspicious, took place at 4.40pm yesterday, as the girl walked along Pinkerton Road, near the junction with Paddock Road.
The man grabbed her from behind but the girl kicked out at him and ran home. She was not injured.
Officers from the Safer Neighbourhoods Team will carry out the extra patrols this afternoon and throughout the week.
