THE Post Office has announced that the Basingstoke branch will open for longer in the run-up to Christmas.
From Monday, December 2, the Post Office in London Street, at Top of The Town, will open from 8.30am until 6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am until 5pm on Saturdays – an increase of six hours a week.
Stewart Fox-Mills, Post Office head of marketing, said: “Christmas is an extremely busy time for many people and we want to make it as easy as possible for our customers by offering longer opening hours at Basingstoke branch.
“Basingstoke Post Office is one of many branches across the UK that are now open for longer in the weeks leading up to Christmas.”
