A NEW operating theatre has been opened at The Hampshire Clinic.
The £1.83million theatre was officially opened by Sir Peter Gershon, chairman of BMI Healthcare, and brings the total number of operating theatres at the Basing Road clinic, in Old Basing, to four.
The theatre was designed and built to include the latest technology in clean airflow for operating theatres and was delivered on time and budget.
Jan Hale, executive director of The Hampshire Clinic, said: "The new theatre was built to accommodate the increasing consultant base at The Hampshire Clinic and confirms the continuing investment by BMI Healthcare, which owns The Hampshire Clinic."
