Basingstoke IT firm launches new recycling service
AN award-winning Basingstoke IT provider is offering a new recycling service as part of its commitment to being green.
Centerprise International, in Lime Tree Way, Chineham, has launched Ci Recycle which offers companies and individuals a way to dispose of their electronic gadgets in an environmentally-friendly way, and also to be paid for it.
Customers can log on to CiRecycle.co.uk and enter details of their device and information about its condition, before be-ing told how much they will be paid for it. They are then sent a free pack to post their gadget, and once it is received, the money they were promised will be paid into their account.
Ci Recycle promises not to mark down the price it quotes for any gadget, unless the condition of the device is significantly different from the way the customer described it.
Gadgets sent in will be ethically recycled and will be sold on the second-hand market or disposed of.
Cas Paton, web programme director at Centerprise International, who is responsible for the project, said: “Centerprise International sees a real potential with recycling.”
