Sir, – Prior to her election, the North Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner expressed a wish for help in the form of opinions, suggestions, etc.
I first wrote to Ms Mulligan at an advised interim business address some 15 weeks ago, with a subsequent reminder, but have had neither an acknowledgement nor a reply to at least three points requiring a response.
Perhaps Ms Mulligan’s earlier enthusiasm in declaring an interest in the public’s views lost some of its sparkle once she had achieved her aim. It is worth remembering, however, that over 90 per cent of electors countrywide did not vote for a successful Commissioner candidate.
