Selborne man arrested over threats to kill

A HAMPSHIRE road has reopened after a serious incident leading to the arrest of man.
Police closed the B3006 linking A31 at Alton with the A3 at Greatham, after they went to an address in Selborne in the early hours of this morning.
A solitary man inside the property was giving them cause for concern.
They also closed the nearby primary school.
Inspector Paul Markham, said: “I would like to thank the community for their cooperation and understanding with this matter.
“Roads have now been reopened and the school have been advised.”
A 50-year-old man from Selborne has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.
