CHILDREN will be able to celebrate Easter a week early this year when a local children’s charity hosts an egg-stra special Easter egg hunt.

Sebastian’s Action Trust is holding the special event on Sunday, March 24 between 2pm and 4pm at The Bluebells, a respite holiday house in North Waltham, for an afternoon of excitement, animals and plenty of chocolate.

The charity provides respite holidays and practical support to children and young people with cancer, and many other life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses, and their families.

Entertainment at the extravaganza will include travelling farm Miller’s Ark, where children can pet and feed baby animals, bouncy castles, the chance to meet Fireman Sam and Peppa Pig and the Easter egg hunt itself.

Debbie Loveridge, event organiser and community fundraiser, said: “It will be an egg-stra special afternoon and we would love to see lots of local families attending. There will be lots going on to keep your little bunnies busy.”

“The trust is committed to creating precious memories for life limited children and their families and the funds you help us raise at the Easter egg hunt will make a real contribution to our work supporting seriously-ill children and their families, so please come along and join in the fun!”

Tickets cost £8 per child if booked before noon on Friday, March 15, and £10 thereafter.

Adult tickets are £3.50. The children’s ticket price includes an Easter egg and refreshments.

To book tickets, or for more information, call the charity on 01344 622500.
