Robber had 'Justin Bieber-style hair'

A TEENAGE girl was robbed in a Basingstoke park by a man with “Justin Bieber-style brown hair”, police said.

The robbery took place at around 11.30am on Wednesday, February 27, as the 17-year-old victim entered War Memorial Park from the Chesterfield Road subway.

She was approached from behind by two men who brushed past her and grabbed her bag, which contained a purple and red Blackberry Curve mobile phone.

Police said the first man was white, aged 18 to 19, and had “Justin Bieber-style” brown hair. He wore a black and royal blue Addidas hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and black Van or Converse shoes.

The second man was around the same age, had short mousey brown spiky hair and wore a black Nike jumper, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

PC Jo Blanchard said: “There would have been a number of dog walkers, joggers and other people around at the time of the incident.”
